Hi Jacque,

Thanks for your interest. We don't have a manufacturer in the Philippines. I personally make each blade here in my shop in the U.S.A.

Please contact me at: robertburgee@gmail.com if you need further information.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for your interest. I have started taking custom orders again. You can submit your drawing or image, with specifications, to robertburgee@gmail.com and I will let you know if it is a design that I can produce.

Thanks for your interest.

I have three of your knives and one sword and they are a fantastic product!
I am curious as to when you believe you will be accepting custom orders or if that is even still a consideration as this page seems to imply?
Thanks

Hi Dave,

Thanks for checking in and thanks for your support. I've done a couple of youtube videos like that. I may do a video someday like that that covers a lot more.

I don't have any recommendations for making trainers, but there are plenty of great knifemaking books out ther:

- Step by Step Knifemaking - David Boye
- How to make knives - Bob Loveless
- How to make folding knives - Ron Lake
- The hand forged knife - Karl Schroen
- The craft of the Japanese sword - Yoshindo Yoshihara
- Custom Knifemaking - Tim McCreight
- The complete bladesmith - Jim Hrisoulas

...just to name a few.

Good luck!

Bob.

Hi TJ,

They do make a sound when they hit. It is not going to have as high a pitch or the echo of steel. It is a little lower and more muffled sound. You definitely know they are metal. Our swords are frequently used for stage productions. They should serve you well, and will definitely be safer than steel.

All the best.

How do they sound? We are thinking of using swords like this in a staged combat show and i was wondering if they ring or clunk when they hit each other. Anyone have any ideas or experience with that?

Subject: Stage Combat Knives for Emerson College

Hi Bob:

Just wanted to let you know that the Gatorback trainers arrived safely. The quality is excellent, and I'm looking forward to teaching with them next semester.

Thanks a lot, and I'll be passing on my recommendation to a colleague who is also looking to upgrade his stage combat armoury.

Best,
