There is an index finger indent and thumb knurles similar to many of the folding pocket knives popular today. The round lanyard hole has been replaced by the well known Sharkee fin/tooth shape. Nok’s trainers are the best I’ve ever used. They’re forgiving enough to go full speed, and sturdy enough to do disarms. They hold up to the abuse and let me tell you, you’ll know when you get hit. Everyone should benefit from this great sparring tool. Nok’s knives are awesome, it’s the happy medium between hard and soft, job well done!
